Personal selling

-         It is any one-to-one communication of information that tries to persuade a costumer to buy.

Telemarketing

-         It is a popular alternative to personal selling. It uses telephone tech, including fax machines, and mail order to maintain regular contact with consumers

AIDA

-         It is a selling formula. AIDA stands for attract Attention, hold Interest, arouse Desire, take Action to close the sale.
-         Many sales training programs teach AIDA to those who do personal selling.

Sales promotion

-         It covers all the activities designed to stimulate you to buy.
o       Free samples, discount coupons, rebates, in-store displays and demonstrations, contest…

Public relations

-         It includes all the activities by which a business try to maintain its good reputation and promote goodwill with the public
o       Charitable activities, sponsors local teams…

Publicity

-         It is the act of bringing company activities to the attention of the public
o       Appears in the news.
